A Seductively Beautiful new Collection
A great period of naturalism in jewellery
Our company has a high ethical code of practice and works with leading artisans in the local South American communities where most our jewellery is produced. Our mission is to offer top quality and glamorous jewellery at relatively modest prices.
Our current collection presents a wide design range of jewellery available to meet the needs of every occasion.
We are proud to present you with genuine South American silver jewellery, bought at a fair price from the craftsmen working in a difficult economic climate. South America has a rich history of jewellery craftsmanship which was originally developed by the Spanish.
Silver was to the ancients cherished and revered. Gold came to symbolize the sun, a male God while the soft, cool sheen of silver symbolized the moon, a female goddess and source of life-giving waters.
A bit about our Silver and Semi-precious stones (Jade, Agate, Lapis, Quartz & Corals)

Silver has been used for making high-value objects reflecting the wealth and status of the owner for thousands of years. Jewellery and silverware are traditionally made from sterling silver (standard silver), an alloy of 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper. Sterling silver is harder than pure silver and has a lower melting point (893 °C) than either pure silver or pure copper, and is consequently more durable and lasting.
The word "silver" appears in Anglo-Saxon in various spellings such as seolfor and siolfor. Silver has been known since ancient times. It is mentioned in the book of Genesis.

The English word 'jade' is derived from the Spanish term cholo (first recorded in 1565) or 'loin stone', from its reputed efficacy in curing ailments of the loins and kidneys. Agate is a variety of quartz, characterised by its fineness of grain and brightness of color. In many traditions agate is believed to cure the stings of scorpions and the bites of snakes, soothe the mind, prevent contagion, still thunder and lightning, promote eloquence, secure the favour of the powerful, and bring victory over enemies.
Lapis is the Latin for 'stone' and which is from the Arabic lāzaward, which is ultimately from the Persian lajward, the name of a place where lapis lazuli was mined. The name of the place came to be associated with the stone mined there and eventually, with its colour. The English word azure, the Spanish and Portuguese azul, and the Italian azzurro are cognates. Taken as a whole, lapis lazuli means "stone of azure".
Naturally inspired by nature
Many of our design ideas gets inspiration from the natural world. An example of our natural connection is the tangerine orange Spondylus ‘oyster’ shell with rippling crimson reflections . Our company ongoing success reflects our commitment to excellence in design, craftsmanship and by using a variety of attractive natural materials.
Our designs want to promote female beauty and a confident optimism.
When one wears this fine jewellery, one can still feel the sense of mystery and sensuality that these stones held in for the ancient dwellers of the Northern Coast of South America. Some of the silver pieces based on strong abstract forms with colour supplied by the corals themselves.
Several Pre-Hispanic societies would sail rough waters to the Gulf of Guayaquil in search of the Spondylus shell. In Ecuador, the sophisticated pre-Incan Valdivia culture, made wonderfully elaborate necklaces and other objects out of Spondylus. Only members of the elite and high priest could wear Spondylus objects. The Incas also shared this obsession for the Spondylus.
Our company’s designers use coral and shells from all sources, especially the tinted and irregular oysters found in the warm tidal waters. A group of silver and coral combination pieces in the current range are well ornamented to dazzling effect. The coral collection of great beauty and extraordinary originality, make them some of the most memorable items.
